What you get

Not a book about the method: the tools that run it against your own tenant, and do the arithmetic for you.

Scripts

Read-only evidence collectors

Job: run all 30 queries across every subscription you can read and write one CSV per query, in PowerShell or Bash.

Saves: running queries one at a time in the portal, and paging past Resource Graph’s 1,000-row limit by hand.

Queries

30 Resource Graph queries

Job: find known waste patterns, from unattached disks and idle gateways to missing hybrid benefit and reservation candidates. Each says why it costs money and how to price it.

Saves: writing and debugging the queries yourself.

Calculator

Excel calculator

Job: turns your findings into annual savings, a Cloud Health Score and band, a savings range by confidence tier and a one-page summary, with live formulas.

Saves: building the spreadsheet and checking its arithmetic.

Guide

The step-by-step guide

Job: the method in five steps: what to export, what to ask, what to look for, how to score it and how to write it up, with a worked example.

Saves: inventing and testing a method of your own.

Start here

Two-page quick start

Job: the path, the time each step takes, and what “done” looks like.

Saves: working out where to begin.

Templates

Summary and CFO email

Job: an editable one-page executive summary in Word, and a short email to send it up the line.

Saves: a blank page when it’s time to write to finance.

Bonuses that remove the risk

Included

A 45-minute findings-review call

On a video call with me, Gaurav Bodar, within 30 days of purchase. Before your summary goes to the CFO, I check the calculator and the page: the arithmetic, the confidence tiers, the double-counting traps, and whether each finding reads right to a finance reader.

See available times →

Included

30 days of email questions

A script error, a query result you’re unsure about, a tier you can’t decide: email admin@cloudsavings.cloud any time in your first 30 days.

The guarantee

Find at least AUD $5,000 a year in savings using the kit, or email within 30 days for a full refund.

The conditions: you ran the export script and filled in the calculator. Savings are counted from the act-now and validate-first tiers, the same way as the Review’s fee-back guarantee. Email the calculator to admin@cloudsavings.cloud within 30 days of purchase. No forms, and you keep the kit.

Is this for you?

Yes, if:

  • You spend about $10k+ a month on Azure.
  • Someone has Reader access across your subscriptions.
  • That person can protect three days over the next two weeks.

Not if:

  • You want continuous monitoring and alerts. Buy a cost-management platform instead.
  • You can’t find three days. Book the Review and I’ll do it for you.

Questions

Isn’t Azure Advisor free?

Yes, and you should use it: the kit pulls in Advisor’s cost recommendations as one of its inputs. Advisor tells you what each resource could save. It doesn’t rank them, name an owner, tier them by confidence or write the page your CFO reads.

Why not just buy a book?

A good book teaches the method; it doesn’t run it. The kit gives you scripts, queries and a calculator that do the work against your own tenant, and an expert to check your answer.

Why not a cost-management tool?

If you want continuous monitoring, alerts and automation, a platform is the right buy, and the kit won’t replace it. If you want a one-off, independent answer without connecting a new vendor to your tenant or taking on a recurring licence, the kit is built for that.

$497 for a PDF?

It isn’t a PDF. It’s scripts, 30 queries, a calculator, templates and a guide, plus a 45-minute call where I check your result before it reaches the CFO. If it doesn’t help you find $5,000 a year, you get your money back.

We don’t have time.

Then the Review is a better fit: I do the work for you, from three business days. If you’ve already bought the kit, your $497 comes off the Review’s fee when you book within 30 days.

Is it safe? Do you need access to our tenant?

No access needed. The scripts run under your own login, only read from Azure Resource Graph, and are short enough to read before you run them. Nothing is sent to me unless you choose to share the calculator for your call.

What if we find nothing?

Then you get your money back. If the kit doesn’t help you find at least AUD $5,000 a year in savings, email the filled-in calculator within 30 days for a full refund.

Will I get a tax invoice?

Yes. Stripe emails a tax invoice showing the GST, and you can add your ABN at checkout.

Can I share it with my team?

Yes. It’s licensed for use within your organisation, so share it with anyone there. Please don’t pass it outside.

What happens after I pay?

You go straight to the download page, and you’ll get an email with the download link so you can come back to it. Then book your findings-review call and start with Step 1.
